What did these critters know that Vegas didn’t?

ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 2, 2015) – It was wild Super Bowl finish, but the result was never in doubt with Butch, Spot and Gabby, the resident football experts for Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Butch is a penguin at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, who beat his friend Tails in a must-see sprint to the end zone to make the official pick for the Patriots.

Spot is the resident green sea turtle at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, who clearly turned his nose up at the food-filled Seattle helmet in his tank and went straight for the New England one.

The same pick was made by Gabby, also a green sea turtle, at Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach.

Watch the video of all three animals making their Patriot picks before the game.

Ripley’s says “tanks” to Butch, Spot and Gabby and congratulates them on their perfect record in Super Bowl XLIX.
