St Augustine, FL (October 25, 2019) – Things are always strange at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in St. Augustine but come TOMORROW, October 26, they will also be wild, furry and hilariously fun. And it’s all for a good cause. The famous St. Augustine Odditorium is hosting Ripley’s Wild and Weird Halloween Extravaganza designed to entertain, educate, and find new BFFs (Best Furry Friends) for some of the region’s homeless pets.

From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm this Saturday, Ripley’s Wild and Weird Halloween will be home to a host of not-so-scary events and exhibitions highlighted by a meet and greet and stage show by Dusty Crum, Everglades activist, and star of the television show, Guardians of the Glades. Crum will share his passion for pythons and his calling to save the delicate Everglades ecosystem from destruction by the invasive pythons.

Family and pet-friendly activities include:

• Ripley’s Pet Parade & Talent Show starting at 11:15 am. Honors include “Most Original Costume,” “Best Group Costume,” Scariest Costume,” and “Best St. Augustine Costume”. Talent categories include “Weirdest,” “Most Original,” and “Best Overall.”
• Dusty Crum Meet and Greet from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Stage Show at 12:30 pm
• Halloween Fun will include kid-friendly activities, prizes, educational opportunities, a showing of the movie Frankenweenie and of course Trunk or Treat.

Invited to Join the Spooky Fun at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

The haunted stories of Orlando need investigating! Join the Haunted Ghost Tour this Wednesday on Halloween for a thrilling and eerily paranormal adventure.

During this hair-raising paranormal tour, you will view authentic evidence of abnormal activity previously investigated by a real Medium. Through a guided tour, inspect unique artifacts like shrunken heads and other items to help investigate the paranormal hot spots on site.

Before or after the tour you’ll have the chance to create your own wax hand with special Wax artists.
