Saint Augustine, FL (February 13th, 2020) – ALL First Responders, plus their immediate family members (spouses and children), will receive 50% off admissions with valid ID when they visit Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium, St. Augustine, February 17th – February 23rd.

Ripley’s St. Augustine wants to say thanks to those who put their lives on the line to protect and serve the community. They will be offering 50% off single attraction tickets to first responders and their immediate family members (spouses and children).

The offer is valid for police officers, firefighters, and EMTs – from anywhere in the US!

Guests can enjoy this discount on any single attraction ticket to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium, Ripley’s Red Train Tours, and Ripley’s Ghost Train Adventure.

NEW JUNGLE ROOM INTERACTIVE
Ripley’s St. Augustine just underwent its most extensive renovation to scale. The upgrades started with an all-new gallery and exhibit called the “Jungle Room!”

The room, located on the 3^rd floor, has numerous interactive exhibits and hands-on games for children and adults to enjoy. The “Dancing Mask” exhibit allows guests to create jungle apparel while dancing to sounds and beats.

The “Pranks of Nature” exhibit allows guests to create and design versions of animals in nature. Also, on display is an African lion – recovered by Robert Ripley himself – that will leave everyone amazed at his size and teeth!

Short E. Dangerously was two years old when a condition led to the amputation of both his legs. Now, he travels around the world, entertaining audiences with acrobatic feats, fire-breathing, and glass-walking—on his hands! Short E. the “half-man” wows crowds with mind-blowing acts like doing a handstand on bowling balls and jumping from a chair onto a pile of flaming glass without being harmed, believe it or not!

Ripley’s St. Augustine Attractions Release Schedule for Free Summer Movies at Colonial Oak Music Park!

AUGUSTINE, FL. (May 9, 2019) – Ripley’s St. Augustine Attractions, Red Train Tours, and Colonial Oak Music Park are teaming up to present FREE summer movies at 33 St. George St.

All movies are FREE to the general public and begin at 8:30 pm at Colonial Oak Music Park located at 33 St. George St.

Ripley’s Red Trains will provide complimentary shuttles from Ripley’s to the top of St. George St. for all movie goers. Shuttle service begins at 7:30 pm and the trains will run every 15 minutes until 8:30 pm. The shuttles will resume at the end of the movie.

There is seating provided at the Colonial Oak Music Park on a first come first serve basis. Folding chairs are also welcome.

Ripley’s St. Augustine Hosts Mini Kiss Concert

St. Augustine, Florida – August 14th, 2018 – Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in St. Augustine will be closing out their 99 Strange Days of Summer on August 31^st with a FREE Mini Kiss Concert at 19 San Marco Ave.

Activities will begin at 6:30 PM with a bounce house, free books for the first 200 children, a beach ball drop, activities and of course, a concert by Mini Kiss!

The band Mini Kiss is a Kiss tribute band made up entirely of little people. The band started in New York City, the same place that the rock band KISS got their start and they are the most popular band made of little people in the United States. The band has been featured in major motion pictures as well as in a Super Bowl commercial.

Just prior to the concert, Ripley’s will be hosting a KISS look- alike contest. Come in your best KISS costume and you may win $100 or some great prizes.

Activities will begin at 6:30 PM with the band going on stage shortly after. All activities are free and Ripley’s parking lot will be available after 4 PM that day to vehicular traffic.

Ripley’s St. Augustine Host Ugly Truck Parade

St. Augustine, FL (July 23rd, 2018) – On July 20th, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in St. Augustine hosted their first annual “Ugly Truck Parade” to celebrate National Ugly Truck Day. The event was one of many events this summer celebrating Ripley’s 99 Strange Days of Summer.

Trucks from north and central Florida joined in a procession led by the St. Augustine Police department. The parade began south on San Marco Ave and continued to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! where trucks were greeted by a number of spectators and judges who would critique their vehicles in four areas:

Exterior Appearance
Interior Appearance
Drivability
The back story of how they came to own the vehicle

The participants had a variety of trucks on display ranging from models in the 1960’s to early 2000’s. There were ten contestants in all and Ripley’s hopes to grow the event and host it annually.

The grand prize of $500 and a trophy went to John Labutti and his 1968 Kaiser M715. The truck/Jeep was a monster size measuring close to 8 feet tall. The interior driver’s side floor was patched with old license plates. When asked what made his truck special, John said “Chuck Norris would drive it.”

Matt Rowland brought his 1963 F250. This beauty has been buried for decades under “25 years of chicken poop and farm equipment.” Matt spent several weekends restoring his truck in preparation for the parade.

Jay Woodley showcased his custom “Zombiemobile” that his friends have dubbed the “Walker Plow 9000.” It was adorned with skulls, barbed wire and bloody handprints.

Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Winners of the Kids Celebrity Look-Alike Contest in St. Augustine

St. Augustine FL, (May 30, 2018) – Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in St. Augustine hosted a kid’s celebrity look-alike contest this past Memorial Day weekend.

The contest began at 2pm Saturday afternoon at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! St. Augustine. Kids were encouraged to come strut their superstar resemblance on the runway. The contest was divided into three categories:

Best Female Celebrity Look-Alike
Best Male Celebrity Look-Alike
Best Political Figure Look-Alike

Each child who participated received a free ticket to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium in St. Augustine, Florida.

The winner for best female celebrity look-alike was 4-year-old Savannah Rose Booher as Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

The winner for best male celebrity look-alike was 6-year-old Adam Graifer as Jim Carrey in the movie Ace Ventura.

The winner for best political figure was 3-year-old Dominic Esposito who resembled Prince George of Cambridge, son of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The winners of each category received a $100 gift card and a prize pack full of incredible Ripley’s merchandise.

In addition, 2-year-old Jewel Atzoi fooled the crowd with her Hillary Clinton impersonation and the adorable 2-year-old Koralynn Juliana dressed up as Shirley Temple in Good Ship Lollipop. Very cute!
