Ripley’s can assist by providing show element design, original artifacts, interactive design and development as well as intellectual property, media rights and the use of the world famous trademarks that can be licensed to your facility for temporary exhibitions.

Flexible Models

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! World Entertainment offers various business models that can be adapted to fit your organization’s specific needs.

Odditoriums range in size from 8,000-25,000 square feet (745-2300 square meters) and feature eye-catching architectural styling, designed to stand out in every city in which they’re located.

Typically, there are 300-500 exhibits in an Odditorium, collected from around the world and covering a wide variety of areas: science and biology, history and culture, technology, illusions. art, sports, and Robert Ripley artifacts. 

Each Odditorium has about a dozen galleries, supported by themed surroundings, special effects, wax figures, and hands-on interactive displays.

Franchise Overview

Initial capital required depends on the size and scope of the attraction, but is generally between $3.0 and $6.0 million USD.

The site development fee is $75,000 USD. Ongoing royalty fees are the greater of a set minimum annual fee or 15% of gross revenues.

• A typical museum is 10,000 sq ft (930 sq m)
• Located in a high visibility area with substantial walk by traffic area.
• Front façade is dynamic and unique and serves as an attraction in and of itself.
