San Antonio, Texas (Dec. 2, 2016) – He’s huuuuuge, he’s big league and he’s been hand- crafted by the F/X team at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
He is one of the very first wax figures of Donald Trump and he’s now on display at Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks. The wax Trump is in the lobby and can be seen and photographed for free – but only for a limited time. Trump will soon join wax figures of President Lincoln and President Obama inside Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks.
Ripley’s created three wax figures of the President-elect. In addition to the one for Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in San Antonio, two more were made for Louis Tussaud’s Palace of Wax in Grand Prairie, Texas and Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks Niagara Falls, Ontario. Ripley Entertainment owns and operates the three Louis Tussaud’s.
During a temporary display in Orlando, one of the wax Trumps proved to be a very polarizing figure – half the guests loved him, the other half loathed him.
Ripley’s F/X team started creating the first Trump figure about four months ago. Each is sculpted by hand by a team of artists, using photographs to create the likeness. Each figure takes about six weeks to complete.
