Back to School Promotion a Success
Ocean City, MD (September 29, 2017) – Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Ocean City is proud to announce the community and its guests stepped up to help stock local schools with much-needed supplies.
The Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Back to School promotion began in August and ended September 10, 2017. Guests who brought in school supplies for each person in their party received 50% off admission to the Ocean City Odditorium.
The campaign was a huge success. Thanks to the participation from the community and visiting guests, Ripley’s will be hosting the promotion again for the next school year. “We want to be involved as much as we can with the area schools and the surrounding communities,” says Audra Ely, Sales and Marketing Director for Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Ocean City.
In October, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Ocean City kicks off the Incredible Kid Award program. Now in its second year, the campaign is being expanded from just two participating schools to most others in the area. The Incredible Kid Award is presented to a student from each grade who demonstrates “incredible” acts of kindness, brings up his/her grades by working extra hard, or who has outstanding character toward others.
“Good character and good citizenship is something to be proud of,” says Ely.
Every nominee will receive a child’s ticket to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Ocean City. The winning student from each school will receive tickets for his/her family to visit Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Ocean City.
